Data protection for EU/EEA customers
Vantyx, Inc. acts as the data processor for your customer support data. You are the data controller. We process data only according to your instructions as set forth in the services provided to you.
Our Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is incorporated into our Terms of Service and is automatically applicable to all customers. The DPA covers the scope of processing, data categories, obligations of the processor, and technical measures implemented to protect data.
EU/EEA customers data is stored within the European Union. We use AWS eu-central-1 (Frankfurt) and eu-west-1 (Ireland) data centres to ensure GDPR-compliant data residency.
Under GDPR, data subjects have the right to: access their personal data, request rectification, request erasure (right to be forgotten), restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing. Vantyx provides tools for fulfilling data subject requests.
Any data transfers outside the EEA are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as approved by the European Commission. Inbound transfers are handled through EU-based infrastructure.
